Terms of Service

1. Use of the App

FamilyDo is a family task management application. You may use it to:

• Create and manage tasks and shopping lists
• Share tasks with family members
• Attach files and comments to tasks

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes.

2. Accounts

• You must sign in with a valid Apple or Google account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or have parental consent)

3. Family Groups

• Any user can create a family group and invite others via invite code
• The creator is the administrator
• Administrators can remove members and manage the group
• By joining, you agree to share your display name and task data with group members

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for providing the service.

You agree not to upload content that is:

• Illegal or promotes illegal activities
• Malicious (viruses, malware)
• Infringing on intellectual property rights
• Excessively large (individual files limited to 25 MB)

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access other users' data without authorization
• Use automated scripts or bots
• Circumvent security measures
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App

6. Availability and Updates

• We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time
• We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; we are not liable for data loss; our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (currently free).

8. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Switzerland.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
